Learn how your ancestors did it!  Before lighters, there was friction fire.  We'll be studying and experiencing one of the most consistent of many different methods: The Bow Drill.  It has duel purpose as a fire maker or as a drill, making it extra useful.  Students will learn about history as well as how to carve and use the kit.  Each student goes home with their personal kit that they make from local trees.
