Witch Crafting Wednesday: Magical Amulets & Talismans

Witch Crafting Wednesday: Magical Amulets & Talismans with Bekah Sutter

Wednesday , November 6th 2019, 6:30-8:30PM

Amulets and talismans are magic charms that are worn and believed to ensure spiritual power or to ward off evil in all cultures around the world. The belief in the magical powers of amulets and talismans is as old as human civilization, and it is still going strong. Amulets are believed to have the power to ward off negative energy, evil spirits, or even illness. Talismans are believed to give more power or positive energy to the person carrying it. Join Bekah Sutter in this mystical crafting circle we will explore various ancient and modern amulets, talismans, and sacred symbols. With books, examples, and inspiration each participant will use a variety of colored polymer clay, small crystals, herbs and tools to craft a personal amulet, talisman or totem, and sent home with instructions on how to bake and preserve your custom magic token. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring small special crystals and items for inspirations or incorporation if appropriate.
