Using local plants like dogbane, nettle, milkweed, and cattail, students will turn raw material into soft, durable rope that can be used to make anything from a necklace, to a basket, to a bow string. We will also discuss methods of identifying, harvesting and processing your plants. Bring your own beads or personal touches for making bracelets or necklaces.
