Since the dawn of our existence the feminine collective has been gathering together as daughters, sisters, mothers and as healers. Powerful stories have been shared, tears have been shed, spaces and hearts have been held, and many magical moments of healing, strength and love have occurred. It is in honor of this ancient tradition that the 13 Moons - A Women’s Healing Circle was created over a decade ago.
This cycle of sacred healing circles will take place the first Wednesday evening of each month. Together we will gather as women and healers. Each moon we will explore a variety of topics including: sacred healing, monthly self healing rituals and the wise woman tradition. We begin each sacred moon circle by calling in the directions, lighting candles, and introducing ourselves and a wish for the circle. We will dive into the monthly theme, sharing thoughts, ideas, experiences; reading poetry, & singing songs. We also create rituals for honoring ourselves and each other through the cycles and spirals of life.
During the 2023 cycle, each monthly theme will be aligned with the energy of the natural cycles of our lives and the land we live on. We will explore both the positive and the shadow qualities of each theme that each equally need to be witnessed and loved. We will do journey work and guided meditation, journaling, sharing, intentional crafting and talk about plant allies and practices that can support us as we make self-care a priority for the year.
Moon Sister, Rebekah Sutter, hosts the 2023 cycle of 13 Moons. She has attended Twin Star’s moon circle since 2013, and has help lead and hold the ever ebb-and-flowing sacred space.
13 Moons: A Women’s Healing Circle will be a private and sacred group, open to folks who identify as women and non-binary. August 2nd - Lioness: I am courageous and capable of achieving anything I choose, with a strong, steady, brave heart.
September 6th - Earth: I am of the Earth and her wild elements. I am grounded, flowing & in harmony with nature.
October 4th - Shadow: There is medicine in my shadow.
November 1st - Ancestors: I celebrate my lineage and honor my ancestors.
December 6th - Gratitude: I live each moment with a presence of gratitude

This event will be held in person in New Milford, CT. In the event of inclement weather or illness, Twin Star reserves the right to host the class online via ZOOM.
