Herbalism is the People’s Medicine & Should be accessible to all
At Twin Star, we believe everyone deserves access to herbal medicine and affordable holistic health care. This journey often begins with education, empowering each of us to create healthier futures while remembering the medicines of the Earth and of our Ancestors.
We recognize that not all people have had equal access to these traditions. Members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities, along with immigrants and refugees, have too often been excluded from the larger story of herbalism, despite their vital contributions. We also acknowledge that single parents, veterans, and others with limited financial means face unique challenges in accessing this work.
Our scholarship program exists to help change that. By offering support to those historically marginalized or financially burdened, we seek to make herbal education accessible to everyone who feels called to walk this path.
We award 25% to 50% scholarships annually for each of the following in person courses:
o Level 1 Foundations of Herbalism Certificate Training in CT
o Level 1 Foundations of Herbalism Training in Asheville, NC
o Level 2 Herbal Practice & Protocol (Online and in-person in New Milford CT and Asheville, NC)
o The Wildcrafted Apothecary - Asheville, NC
o Backyard Herbalism - offered in New Milford CT and Asheville, NC
We award 25% to 50% scholarships annually for each of the following ONLINE courses:
o Foundations of Herbalism Home Study Edition
o The Practicing Herbalist Clinical Training Program
o The Art of Flower Essence Therapy
o Flower Essence Practitioner Training Program
o The Green Witch Immersion: Magical Herbalism & the Way of Witches
o Journey Through the Wheel Immersion
Please note that we intentionally choose to offer 25% to 50% scholarships so that we can provide assistance to a larger number of folks. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
