CELEBRATING The 12 Pillars of the Goddesses

Change is afoot on our beautiful Earth and we are changing with Her. Join an intimate monthly recordings, as we dive into 12 Pillar Goddesses from the world pantheon, embodying Maiden, Mother, Queen and Crone, anchoring them in your mind, body, psyche and spirit.  This is our seventh year of the Goddess program, and this is a pivotal year of change and growth. We will cycle through Pillar Goddesses each representing the 4 stages of Feminine Wisdom: Maiden, Mother, Queen and Crone.

We are Creative at our core, authentic and luminous with light and dark, braiding earth and sky, joy and courage, care in action, hearts open with embodied wisdom, and truths shared. We will practice our own transformation and growth on a daily basis, filling our Cup at the sacred Well, Transformed by the Fire, Grounded in our good Earth, swept clear by winds/Air of change, Spirit inhabiting our body at this exact moment, finding our connection to the Mystery. 

Each pre-recorded online class will explore one goddess and incorporate and activate her energy into our lives. After each class you will walk away with a deep understanding of the medicines, songs, rituals and practices to invoke the Goddess.

Meet Your Goddess Within Us Instructor: Linda has been a long-time student of the energetic truth expressed between us all (humans, plants, animals, the rock and tree people, among others) in this world, and of deep listening. She grateful for all her teachers: Oh Shinnah, Lupo, Joan Halifax, her movement and song teachers, family, friends and Nature. As Song Mistress she leads songs and chants for 13 Moons; a singer with a passion for community song work, and group singing. Linda believes that singing together builds shared community, deep listening and transports us to an expanded awareness of ourselves and the world. Trained as a movement analyst, Linda turned her love of movement toward ritual, dance, and embodiment of archetypal energies including the various forms of the Goddess and is the lead instructor of Goddess Within Us . She was always meant to study herbalism and was grateful to find Lupo and the Twin Star community and has been immersed in the life of plants and herbs over the last 6 years including herbalism, plant spirit studies and flower essence therapies. As a Reiki Master she has studied various energetic therapies over the last 30 years or so – Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and various meditation practices including moving meditation.

  • Maiden – Lilith, fertile Dark Goddess, She softens the veils of illusion and embodies Feminine Power, Wisdom and Truth as Queen of the Night. She is older than biblical tales, an ancient snake and winged Owl goddess offering passage to the underworld and the gems buried there. We celebrate Weds. Jan. 18. 

  • Maiden – Medusa, divine protectress and gateway to Feminine Mystery, She is much older than her Greek story, leading us back to the wisdom of the snake shedding her skin for transformation. Medusa’s earliest stories emerge from the ancient matrilineal Snake goddess in her more ancient origins – the snake or serpent or dragon is synonymous with rising kundalini power, the unfurling of our native energy rising through the chakras or energy centers. How do we tap into the wisdom of the serpent, the snake, the dragon?  We celebrate Weds. Feb. 15. 

  • Maiden – Persephone, Goddess of Spring, first flowers and new growth and birth, and in her older stories She is always Queen of the Underworld with Hades her consort, evoking deep magic, and reviewing a life well lived. She is the powerhouse behind each seed which sprouts from the Deep Earth and embodies divine restoration. We will celebrate on Weds. March 15.

  • Mother Aphrodite, Goddess of love, sensuality, fertility, and deep waters, She opens us to life’s beauty and love, nurturing and self-care. Aphrodite is much more ancient than her Greek tale, as you would expect. We will explore sacred water and its meaning and deep self-care and self-love. We will look at the 7 forms of love in the Greek tradition and drink blessed water. We celebrate on Weds. April 19.  

  • Mother – Hathor, Goddess of pleasure, love, music and jubilation to summon radical self-love and deep care who predates Isis, she is one of the oldest recorded Egyptian goddesses. She appears in creation stories as a great celestial goddess, ruler of the morning and evening stars (Venus), the principle who brings forth the universe, is in charge of cycles of life and death, blessing for birth and death, fertility in the Nile basin, magic and healing and the goddess of love, expressed by Egyptians with ecstatic dances and sexual expressions at her temples each Summer in ancient Egypt. We celebrate on Weds. May 17.   

  • Mother – Kali,  the Fearless One, She transforms our dance of life. Dark Goddess of freedom, of time, beginnings, endings and rebirth. Goddess of creation, ceaseless becoming and transformation. Womb mother of all creation. Fierce warrior goddess and beloved Divine Mother as Kali-Ma, goddess of unfettered love, radical acceptance. Paradox embodied. Ecstasy and death. Us. She is constantly co-creating the Universes with her song.  We celebrate on Weds. June 21, the Summer Solstice.  

  • Queen - Sekhmet, Egyptian goddess of the sun, healing, and fierce protection of all creatures, particularly mothers and children of all beings. She is goddess of the Setting Sun and her twin Goddess sister Bastet (the beloved cat goddess) is goddess of the Rising Sun. Sekhmet rules the cycles of death, nurturing and rebirth and is in charge of TIME. Like Kali, another great goddess of TIME, Sekhmet is unstoppable in battle. We celebrate on Weds. July 19. 

  • Queen – Isis, Goddess of Magic, Wisdom, Healing, the Moon and Alchemy, to help Re-member our spirit, dreams, ancestors and aspirations and bring together our forgotten pieces. She governs the above realms and the underworld and her story with Osiris is a powerful reminder of the regenerative power of the Deep Feminine, the story of life’s longing for itself. We will explore the alchemical process of bringing back together the scattered parts of Self  We celebrate on Weds. Aug. 16.  

  • Queen Inanna, Sumerian, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Goddess of the Morning and Evening star, for courage and discernment, and understanding of what to sow and what to release. Inanna and her sister Ereshkigal encompass all of creation, death, and rebirth – the descent through the 7 gates to the Underworld, and the Ascent back to the world, forever changed. We celebrate Weds. Sept. 20 near the Fall Equinox. 

  • Crone -  Hecate, Triple Goddess, witch, wise woman, Guardian of the Crossroads and prophecy, She awakens our Words of Power and awakens our collective consciousness., Hecate, goddess of the Underworld, is a torch holder and way shower in and out of the Underworld and our own consciousness. We celebrate Wed. Oct. 18.

  • Crone – Baba Yaga, Wild Goddess and primal wielder of Life and Death, to anchor us as a force of Nature. She is Wild Nature, sometimes helpful, sometimes harmful but ALWAYS creating a fierce, powerful journey. Come into the forest with Her. We celebrate Weds. Nov.15.

  • Crone – Spider Woman, First Nations Creatrix, Weaver of the web of Life, She centers us as we weave our light web into existence, She who sings the fabric of being into existence as we resonate with the music of Life. Explore the basket of Love and Light generated by us all.We celebrate on Weds. Dec. 20, the Winter Solstice
