Join artist and herbalist, Bekah Sutter, for a fun night of art and herbs! Pairing our love for our plant friends and the truth of universal creative expression, we will explore our inner artists and connection to nature. No artistic experience needed! This play shop is open to all levels. We will start the night with a special guided meditation and smudging to set creative intentions and vibes. A short tutorial and examples will be provided. Watercolor paints and other materials will be supplied for exploring abstract creative expression, while we make personal art along side each other. Wild flowers and healing herbs, both pressed and fresh, will then be available to collage over our abstract watercolor. Leave with your very own piece of unique herbal artwork!
Bekah Sutter is a blossoming community herbalist, artist, baker and a grad of TwinStar's programs. She has been studying healing herbs for four years and spends much of her time working at the Community Apothecary in downtown New Milford, CT. Bekah's passion lies in combining the healing magic of the plant world and creating beautiful hand-crafted herbal remedies and artwork.
Our Wednesday Night Series: Witch Crafting Wednesday! This monthly drop-in event is witchy, creative and fun! Each month we will gather and learn about a mystical topic and create a handmade craft together. From crystals, to love potions, manifesting, to dream catchers and more, each gathering is meant to reignite your intuition, bring on the magical vibes, and light your inner creative fire. Come get witchy and crafty with us!
