Advanced Herbal Program | 200-Hour Certificate Program
Building upon our Level I Foundations of Herbalism course, Practice and Protocols of Herbalism continues to furnish students with the tools needed to become a successful and confident community herbalists.
What you can expect
This advanced herbal program interweaves both the knowledge of Western Herbalism and a variety of global healing traditions. It offers a deep exploration into the most common health issues and ailments that we as herbalists are seeing most often within our local communities.
This Level 2 Herbalism course offers advanced skills and deeper training in herbal care, empowering students to educate others and step confidently into the role of a Community Herbalist.
This 200-hour certificate program prepares participants to serve as Community Herbalists, confidently supporting the health of family, friends, and communities by matching plant allies with bodily imbalances and the energetics they influence. It prepares folks to safely and efficaciously assist people with herbal recommendations to facilitate wellness and is a prerequisite for our Practicing Herbalist Clinical Program.

when will we meet
Our program runs from November - October. After you register, you will receive access to our classroom portal in November that will act as your online hub for everything you need. It will list homework, dates and times for our online LIVE classes and in-person immersions, access to our online community forum, and access to the pre-recorded video lectures for each month.
During our first opening circle call in November, we will go over the flow of the program.
Our online LIVE classes will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. est on Wednesdays: November 19th, December 10th, January 7th, February 11th, March 11th, April 11th (in person), May 13th, June 10th, July 11th (in person), August 12th, September 16th and October 14th
We have two in-person medicine making immersions on April 11th and July 11th at our Twin Star South classroom in the beautiful Asheville, NC and at our Twin Star North classroom in the beautiful New Milford, CT allowing you to be amongst the magic of the mountains and to learn from some of our amazing group of guest teachers.

Completion of a foundational herbal studies program or equivalent experience is required before enrolling in this 200-hour Community Herbalist Certificate, which also serves as the prerequisite for our Practicing Herbalist Clinical Program.
If you have taken our Foundations of Herbalism program, that counts as fulfillment.

Students are expected to watch each month’s lectures, complete homework, and attend LIVE classes to receive the certificate of completion.
We allow one absence for our live class.
